The price gap, in driver terms

The number Everlance never shows you
Mileage apps tell you how far you drove. GigOdo also answers the question that decides whether a shift was worth it: what did you actually make after gas? It logs pay per trip and platform, computes your real fuel cost per mile from your own fill-ups, and shows dollars per mile for DoorDash vs Uber Eats vs whatever else you run. Once a week, its AI reviews your numbers and points out the one thing that would raise them - which platform is underpaying you, which day is dead weight.
Privacy: routes vs totals
Everlance, like most cloud mileage trackers, stores your trips - where you went, when - on its servers. GigOdo is built the other way: GPS positions are used on your phone to add up distance and then discarded. Only mile totals exist anywhere. If you enable sync (the Pro feature), what syncs is totals, dates, and pay figures - never a route. The privacy policy is two minutes long because there isn't much to disclose.
Where Everlance genuinely wins
Fair is fair. Everlance is the better choice if you want bank-linked expense tracking with receipt photos, a built-in tax filing service, team accounts for a small fleet, or a fully native iPhone app. GigOdo runs on iPhone as a web app (Add to Home Screen), and its Android background auto-detect is where it shines. If your bookkeeping needs go beyond miles, earnings, and fuel, the extra $95 a year for Everlance may be worth it to you.

If you're a gig driver who wants unlimited automatic mileage, your real hourly after gas, and tax-ready records - and you'd rather keep both your $95 and your location history - GigOdo does the job for a quarter of the price.
